How To Disable The Lock Screen In Windows 8

If you think that the lock screen in Windows 8 is unnecessary and want to have faster access to the logon screen, then you should disable it. This is tutorial that explains how to disable the lock screen in windows 8.

1. Move your mouse to the bottom-right corner of the screen and click on Search. In the search field type gpedit.msc

2. Launch gpedit.msc app

3. Navigate to Computer ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesControl PanelPersonalization.

4. Double-click the Do not display the lock screen option, set it to Enabled and click on Apply
